Okay, so everyone has seen them before and hopefully we are all on the same page as we ask, "what? who would do something like that?" No, I am not talking about the newest Jackass movie; I am referring to the stupid warning labels that are turning up everywhere we look.

From sleeping pills that caution against drowsiness to king size mattresses that warn you not to swallow them, these dumb wastes of paper can be found anywhere now. This leads to my assumption that somewhere along the line, someone had to have tried doing each and every one of these acts that we, as the consumers, are now being warned against.

First, take Caesar Barber. He sued multiple fast-food chains because he said that they "made him obese." Okay Caesar, was it really the fast-food restaurant or was it YOU who was buying the fast food? No one forced him to eat at McDonald's, Burger King or KFC everyday. Supposedly, he was an older single gentleman and he wasn't a very good cook, so he was forced to eat out. I mean really! There are single men all over the world that eat out most of the week, and although it is not good for a person, you can't really blame the restaurant. You are the one gaining the weight because you can't figure out how to scramble a few eggs.

Next up is Hans-Josef Brinkmann who sued Coca-Cola and Masterfood because he believed that soft drinks and chocolate bars were responsible for his diabetes. Sure Hans, your choice to consume them had absolutely nothing to do with it. The kicker in this story is that Brinkermann is actually a judge in Germany.

Okay perhaps the winner in this stupidity contest should be the brilliant mind that thought cruise control meant that it drove his RV for him. Seriously, this man believed it was the same thing as auto pilot so he slipped into the back to get himself a beer and take a bathroom break. Boy was he surprised when the RV ran off the road and he landed in a ditch. I just have to ask, "What were you thinking????"
