When you look back on your college years, you don't always remember the lessons you learned in your biology or history classes. You think about the experiences you had with your friends and classmates. You recall memories about the trips across country, your first college shopping spree, the hours you spent in the news room and if you're like 300 plus students at JSU, you think about band camp.

Known as the "Marching Southerners," JSU's marching band isn't something to be taken lightly. Students and instructors spend countless hours practicing, trying to perfect their art. This pursuit of perfection begins almost immediately after the football season ends.
